The Vision is to impact 1.5 million of God’s children by 2031!

La Distinction Co was born in a dream during a period of prayer and fasting. In that dream in 2020, the founder was ushered into a ceremony on a boat. The ceremony felt familiar because her maternal grandmother was there waiting for her. After counsel and personal messages from her grandmother, she was led out of the ceremony where a man was waiting for her on the deck. When she stood in front of the man, he handed her a navy blue ribbon while repeating the word “DISTINCTION.” Aligning that dream with past indications to share the gospel through her writings, she woke up and went to work.

We believe in being rooted in the love for Christ first in order to teach his ways to others. 1 John 4:19

 

Wellness

We believe that our well-being matters to God, whether mental, physical, or emotional, not just the spiritual. John 16:24

Meet the Team

  • Patricia Mura Desert

    EDITOR-IN-CHIEF & CEO

    Mom of two, wife, therapist, and writer.

    Distinction Co is the embodiment of her passion for the biblical scriptures and diverse experience in mental health. Patricia holds a master’s in social work and currently studying Health and Wellness Coaching. She enjoys Bible journaling and nature walks.

  • Jayde-Chloë Desert

    CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER

    Firstborn of the CEO, artist, and speaker.

    Jayde-Chloë loves to paint, dance, read, take a nature walk and enjoy public speaking. She is a major contributor to the Holistic Bible Curriculum for Kids and the supervisor of gift wrapping and packaging.

  • Jean-Carell Desert

    CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

    Dad of the CCO, husband of the CEO.

    JC handles the operations at Distinction Co from financial record-keeping to organization and processing of shipments. JC is also a Real Estate agent ensuring that families find their dream homes in the state of Massachusetts. He loves to cook and enjoys classic movies.

  • Obelle M Pluviose

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Obelle is the co-creator of the Christian Woman Hub at Distinction Co, a space for women who are looking for support to launch their dream. She advises on all branding processes of Distinction Co. She loves fashion and all things wellness.
